Charlie is the business owner of G-MECH Services Pte Ltd, a company, registered in Singapore, providing NDT Consultancy, Training, Examinations and Auditing services for the Aerospace and General sectors.

He is a certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems) and also a Technical Assessor for the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) in the field of Non-Destructive Testing and conducts audits and assessments on NDT laboratories for compliance to ISO/IEC 17025.

He currently holds the Responsible Level 3 appointment for some of his aerospace clients in Singapore and the region, who are CAAS, FAA, EASA and/or Nadcap approved for NDT.

Charlie’s working experience on aircrafts in the Republic of Singapore Air Force and in various commercial aerospace companies has helped him appreciate the importance of Non-Destructive Testing. It was in year 1996 that he decided to pursue his passion in Aerospace NDT and started developing his knowledge and skills inspecting landing gears and engine components in MRO facilities in Singapore.

Charlie joined SETSCO Services in year 2000 and was involved in the day-to-day inspection work on aircrafts and components, as well as conducting NDT training as an appointed Instructor. He was also a Singapore Welding Society approved Examiner for the PCN/AERO certification scheme, and the Responsible Level 3 of SETSCO Aerospace Testing Centre from June 2006 to May 2007.

He joined EAGLE Services Asia Pte Ltd, a Pratt and Whitney and SIA Engineering joint venture company in June 2007, and was their Responsible Level 3 until June 2014.

Charlie holds a BSc in Non-Destructive Testing from the University of Northampton. He is also a certified ASNT, PCN/AERO, NAS 410 and EN 4179 Level 3 and possesses a Singapore WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance as a certified Training and Adult Educator. His teaching experience in NDT is extensive and countless NDT practitioners have benefited from his training. He engages only the best NDT instructors, consultants and examiners into his team to deliver the highest standards of training, consulting services and exams.
